Fjaa' Description Beautiful Antique Chondzoresk from Karabagh distric or Could-band Kazak rug, southwest to south Caucasian, size 4.4x 7.9, circa late 19th Century. Two large red medallions,with octagon shap,cover almost the entire surface of this rug's field. Eight cloud band ( or daragon) in light blue and green decorated the medallions,encircling a square white lezenges. Animals,rossete,diamond,octagons,and 'S' motifs occupy the remaining of the field. The white principal border bears the wine-glass motif amid oak leaves in red,camel and blue. This attractive piece is in excellent condition with good pile throughout,KPSi of 8x7,complete rug with original ends and edges,slight oxidized browns,light red weft.
