This rug has been hanging on the wall since I bought it. It is so fine like a tapestry and truly beautiful. The detail of this rug makes it more like a beautiful Painting and not just a common rug. You will instantly notice the magnificence of this art work as soon as you see it.  I am the first owner and have had it for about three years. It is new (no more than 10 years old) and has never been walked on or vacuumed always brushed with hand. It is in a brand new condition, no odor, no stains. This is truly a fantastic example of a silk Isfahan.  It is 4’10 X 7’2”. It has a tasteful gold background that changes color with the angle of light with other multi colors all natural dyes. This is a 500 to 600 Knots per square inch quality rug. This rug was hand woven and signed by a master weaver in Isfahan which is one of less than hand full locations where the best rugs are made in Iran and this is one of their best examples. It is about 95% silk and some wool on silk foundation. This rug has been appraised by a well known and recognized appraiser in Northern California. I am willing to sell it for less than what I paid for it which was a bargain price. You would have to pay in excess of $15,000.00 at an auction house to buy this one.
